The Doctoral School Conference is organized every year with the help of the doctoral students' association, HippoThèse. Attendance is recommended for all 2nd and 3rd year PhD students, whatever their specialty, and is validated as a module of the PhD curriculum.
PhD students must present a poster in English. Oral presentations are possible, subject to the agreement of the organizing committee. Participation is by registration only. All documents relating to this event are sent to PhD students 3 months in advance by e-mail.
An Organizing Committee, made up of volunteer first-year doctoral students, selects the presentation themes and organizes the oral communication sessions. The ED also provides organizational support.
The Colloquium is also the occasion for a survey to identify new needs and/or difficulties. Through this activity, doctoral students can take a step back from their thesis work, but also seize opportunities to meet new people for the future.
The program alternates between Aix Marseille University sites.
Finally, prizes are awarded at the closing ceremony. Prizes are awarded in 2 categories: poster presentations and oral presentations.
You can register for the Colloquium directly via your ADUM profile.
