The Symposium Advances in Bioinspiration will take place in Paris on March, 28th 2025, under the auspice of the thematic institute Molecular and structural basis of life sciences (IT BMSV)

Bioinspiration involves drawing from nature's solutions to devise new, original, or more efficient systems in biology, chemistry, engineering, and beyond. Initially confined to mere imitation, such as replicating enzyme active sites or biosynthetic pathways, bioinspiration has evolved toward a deeper understanding. It now seeks to grasp and translate the underlying principles of natural processes to reconstruct them with sometimes radically different solutions.

This symposium provides a valuable opportunity to showcase the current diversity of this field. It also underscores how bioinspiration can lead us far beyond the traditional boundaries of biology.

A poster session will be organized and short talks will be selected.

Deadline for abstracts submission: March 14th, 2025.
